Century Beech Construction Century Beech Construction, founded in 1980 by Mason Wyatt, has continued to serve Richmond and surrounding areas with excellent quality in construction, service, integrity, and performance. Owner Mason Wyatt began construction early in life. "I was always one of the kids dragging discarded building materials down in the woods to make a 'fort' or 'tree house'." Joining an apprentice program for the Wood, Wire and Metal Lathers Union in 1968, Mason began his formal indoctrination in the trades. Soon after, he began contracting small weekend projects and has since worked on many major projects and buildings in the Richmond area. Shopping malls, hospital wings, recording studios, and performing arts facilities are among the types of projects that have held Mason's interest over the years. Recently renovating and restoring historic homes in Church Hill has sharpened his interest in producing a high level of quality construction while keeping a strict code of compliance to architectural detail and in many cases producing custom components to match original period and architectural features. As owner of Century Beech Construction, Mason demands the best in customer relations and production.
